Hi, I'm just learning about SSD drives. I've read there a lot faster and you should install the operating system on them and most of your programs and that a HDD drive would be best used for storage of photo and video files. If you use a program on the ssd i.e windows media player and load files like a video file from a hdd drive would it effect speed? does the speed get effected if a game is installed on a ssd drive and you run it from a cd? I don't think it would but I'm not sure, I'm just curious about how ssd drives can work with hdd drives and optical drives. For my new pc I'm considering just getting a SSD drive and using a 3.0 external HDD would this be a good idea?... Read More »
